Community Birthday - A Quarter & A Can Food Drive
Founder of South Rankin Food Resource Center Inc
Will be celebrating her birthday of 34 years on 4-17-16.
With a community food drive, now through April 22, 2016. A quarter and A can of food at a time, to benefit:
South Rankin Food Resource Center Inc.
Goal: A quarter and A can of food for every day of her life. 365 X 34 years old = 12,410 quarters, 12,410 cans of food.
We are asking each family member or friend to donate, A quarter and A can of food for 5 days. That's $1.25 and 5 cans of food. We are asking each business in Rankin County to ask their employees to give back to their community by donating A quarter and A can of food for 5 days. That's $1.25 and 5 cans of food. Whether you are family, friend or business (employee) you can choose to participate for: one, two, three or four weeks. Four weeks would only be $5.00 and 20 cans of food. The more quarters and cans of food that are donated will help Kristin reach her and help South Rankin Food Resource Center Inc., fill empty shelves with food to give back to those in our community that are in need. All donations stay in Rankin County to help food insecure individual(s) and helps us provide food for our Back Pack program that are at local elementary schools, where 80 food insecure children go home each Friday with a back pack filled with food to help them through the weekend.
Together we can..........................
Help Kristin reach her goal by
Donating A quarter and A can!
